Mr Richard Karoo is a Consultant Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgeon at Sancta Maria Hospital, Swansea. His practice is now fully private and he brings over 20 years of surgical experience in cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery, having trained at some of the most prestigious plastic surgery centres in the UK, Australia and at Harley Street, London.
Mr Karoo is the only surgeon in the history of the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons to have been awarded the John Barron Prize twice, firstly for his work on breast reconstruction using techniques brought over from Europe, and secondly for his work on electrochemotherapy for cutaneous tumours.
