Mr Schreuder is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon working at the Welsh Centre for Burns and Plastic Surgery in Swansea.

He has a specialist interest in Hand Surgery having relocated back to Swansea after 17 years as a Consultant in Hertfordshire where he practised both in the NHS and privately. 

He trained in London, Liverpool and Swansea before undertaking a year long fellowship in Hand Surgery in Sydney at Sydney and St Luke’s Hospitals where he supplemented his Plastic Surgery training with Orthopaedic experience. His current NHS practice focusses on predominantly Hand Surgery, but he is also involved in the management of skin cancers in West Wales. He does however have broad experience of general Plastic Surgery procedures having been a Consultant since 2004.

Mr Schreuder’s practice at HMT Sancta Maria mirrors his NHS practice and he offers consultations and surgical procedures for patients with hand problems including carpal tunnel syndrome, trigger finger, Dupuytrens and hand arthritis and for patients with skin lesions both benign and cancerous. Mr Schreuder is extremely patient focussed and tailors all treatment to the requirements of his individual patients.
