Dr Shaheena Sadiq qualified in Medicine at Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School in 1993, and obtained fellowship of both Royal College of Surgeons (1998) and Royal college of Radiologists (2003). She completed Neuroradiology training in University Hospital, Cardiff (2005), and has practiced as a neuroradiologist in Swansea since then. She is currently lead Neuroradiologist for Swansea Bay University Health Board experienced in imaging of diseases such as multiple sclerosis, stroke, brain tumours, headache and dementia as well as neurological and degenerative diseases of the spine.
Dr Sadiq has a sub-speciality interest in head and neck imaging, with expertise in neck ultrasound (including thyroid scanning) with specific reference to cancer scanning, being part of the South West Wales head and neck cancer multidisciplinary team. She has many years experience in interpretation of CT and MRI relating to ENT and Maxillofacial diseases.
