Conditions Treated and Procedures Offered at Sancta Maria Hospital

Mr Puttasiddaiah offers private consultations and surgical treatment across the full range of adult ENT conditions at Sancta Maria Hospital. His ear practice covers hearing loss assessment, tinnitus management, vertigo and balance disorders, endoscopic middle ear surgery, endoscopic myringoplasty for perforated eardrums, mastoid surgery and surfer’s ear removal using piezo surgery. His nasal practice covers blocked noses, sinusitis and nasal surgery.

Endoscopic Ear Surgery

Mr Puttasiddaiah has a specialist interest in minimally invasive endoscopic middle ear and mastoid surgery. This approach uses a small endoscope passed through the ear canal, avoiding the need for a large incision behind the ear and enabling a faster recovery. He has published research in the Journal of Laryngology and Otology on endoscopic myringoplasty outcomes and on the removal of surfer’s ear exostoses using piezo surgery, contributing to the evidence base for these minimally invasive techniques. MrEmamPlasticSurgeon
