Mr. Dan Leopard is a consultant in ENT/Head and Neck Surgery. He graduated from Swansea & Cardiff Medical Schools in 2011. Prior to embarking on a medical career, he studied biology at Leeds university, gaining a BSc(Hons) in 2006. His higher surgical training was undertaken in Wales and following this, he undertook a surgical fellowship specialising in head and neck cancer surgery in The Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, Queensland, Australia.
He was awarded the Royal Society of Medicine Gold Medal in Laryngology for scoring the highest marks in the Intercollegiate Fellowship examination in Otolaryngology / Head & Neck Surgery (FRCS ORL-HNS). Mr. Leopard works as a substantive NHS consultant in Morriston Hospital, Swansea. In 2023, he received the ENT Wales Trainer of the Year award.
He has expertise in a variety of ENT conditions including; deafness, dizziness/vertigo, nose and sinus conditions, voice and swallowing disorders as well as a special interest in head and neck cancer and salivary gland disease. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters and has a keen interest in cycling and triathlon.
