Nerve Conduction Studies and EMG

Dr Hinds performs nerve conduction studies and EMG for his own private patients and for other doctors. These investigations test the nerves in the hands, arms and legs and are used to diagnose disorders of the peripheral nerves including peripheral neuropathies, carpal tunnel syndrome, ulnar neuropathy, peroneal neuropathy and other nerve injuries. The test takes approximately 30 minutes and has no after-effects.

Medicolegal Work

Dr Hinds has acted as an expert witness in neurology since 2003. He prepares medicolegal reports primarily for personal injury cases, with reports typically completed within four weeks of the clinical assessment. In certain circumstances, domiciliary assessments are available when travel is impractical due to the nature of the injuries sustained.
