Dr Martin Bevan qualified in Cardiff in 1991 and trained in general medicine in South Wales. He became a rheumatology registrar in Cardiff in 1995 and a consultant in 2000 in Bro Morgannwg NHS Trust. He holds clinics in Singleton and Neath Port Talbot Hospitals.

He is experienced in the assessment, diagnosis and management/treatment of inflammatory arthritis, connective tissue diseases, vasculitis, crystal arthritis, soft tissue rheumatism and fibromyalgia. His particular interest is in the diagnosis and treatment of gout and he is skilled in polarising light microscopy. He also performs joint aspirations and injections. He is recognised by all major insurance companies.
