Dr Mikhail completed his Renal training at Guy’s and St Thomas Hospital prior to starting his substantive NHS consultant Job in Wales in 2002.

He completed his postgraduate MD degree in Renal Medicine (University in London) in 2010.
He has been involved in several multicentre clinical trials on innovative therapies for patients with high blood pressure, chronic kidney disease and those on dialysis.

He has participated in writing clinical practice guidelines both nationally and internationally.
He continues to practice as a full time NHS consultant nephrologist.

• Kidney disease in young patients.
• Investigation of blood and/or protein in urine or reduced kidney function.
• Management of chronic kidney disease at all stages including predalysis, dialysis and kidney transplant
