Following the successful opening of our brand-new state-of-the-art hospital situated in the SA1 area of Swansea, we are looking for skilled, motivated, and experienced Senior Theatre practitioners to join our busy and diverse Theatre Department.
We are only private hospital in Swansea offering a wide range of procedures carried out by a number of our leading consultants. As a not-for-profit organisation, Sancta Maria hospital is passionate about putting the patient first.
We are seeking applications for this position in anticipation of our staffing requirement review due to take place later this year as we aim to support our growing teams and continuing development of our new hospital.
The Senior Theatre Practitioner will manage the day-today running of the theatre by being accountable for their own professional practice and leading a team to ensure that service user experience a very high standard of care.
As part of the theatre senior team, they will work to meet departmental objectives by contributing, developing and supporting the work of the theatre service. This will include staff training and development, process improvement and project management.
They will be competent to either practice within a variety of specialties and complexity of cases carried out at Sancta Maria Hospital and will hold qualifications that allow them to act in the role of Surgical First Assistant.
Variable Shifts Patterns: Mainly Long days, Earlies or Lates and includes Weekends and on-call
