An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced MRI Radiographer to join our radiology service at HMT Sancta Maria Hospital.

This is an exciting time to join the team at Sancta Maria Hospital as we have recently opened our brand-new state-of-the-art private hospital situated in the SA1 area of Swansea with our purpose built Radiology Department comprising of MRI Suite, Digital X-ray room and Ultrasound.

  • Support the MRI and Radiography service joining a multi- disciplinary team.
  • Accountable to Radiology Services Manager
  • Act as the coordinator in MRI to organise workload to accommodate clinical priorities, negotiating changes to the planned work rota where required. In particular, the workload of the MRI department requires particular attention to optimising the usage of the scanner and making best use of the available equipment resources.
  • Assist in the provision of an efficient MRI/ Radiography scanning service of the highest standard.
  • Demonstrate evidence of organizational skills and able to work both autonomously as part of a team.
  • Have substantial experience in Radiography and MRI including abdominal, orthopedic, vascular, gynecological, multi parametric prostate scanning. Cardiac MRI experience preferable.
  • Have basic/intermediate knowledge of MRI, having attended the MRI courses.
  • Competent with the technical and clinical aspects of MRI, maintaining full safety standards in MRI.
  • Utilise department protocols and set standards to continually undertake MRI procedures of the highest quality.
